Community Analysis and Spatial Statistics Using R
Robert Ptacnik
(on 16 -17 july, 2 days, 20 participants)
This 2-day hands on workshop will be based on elementary statistical methods in ecology (especially community ecology). At least an introductory knowledge of R will be necessary for the participants; even so, hand on activities about data organization, data visualization in R and introduction to statistics in R will be covered in the first day of the workshop. In the second day participants will learn how to organize data in R, perform basic ordination (CCA, RDA), and distance based methods. Familiarity with elementary statistical methods in community ecology is necessary. The workshop is free, however, priority will be given to the participants of EEBST 2018. You can apply after May 1 when abstract submission is closed.
